OMNINET is a member of the Alliance for Cyber Security
Working together for greater IT security in Germany
OMNINET is now part of the Alliance for Cyber Security (ACS), an initiative of the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) carried out in cooperation with the German Association for Information Technology, Telecommunications and New Media (Bitkom).
What does participation mean for OMNINET customers?
Participation creates measurable added value for our customers and partners and means an additional plus in terms of trust, transparency, and competence.
Through the continuous exchange of knowledge within the BSI network, we receive reliable security alerts, concrete recommendations for action and tried-and-tested best practices at an early stage. We transfer this know-how directly into development, operation and support. For you, this means shorter response and recovery times, lower risk of downtime and noticeably higher availability of critical business processes.
At the same time, current regulatory requirements, for example from ISO/IEC 27001/27002, NIS2, or KRITIS, are continuously incorporated into our products, services and the associated documentation. This results in audit-compliant evidence, transparent release notes, and predictable security advisories that simplify compliance and reduce the total cost of ownership without additional effort. Our roadmaps prioritize security functions and hardening measures based on BSI insights. This keeps your investments future-proof and strengthens your security architecture in the long term.
Our partners also benefit directly: the documented connection to the Alliance for Cyber Security acts as a strong signal of trust to customers and stakeholders. In short, OMNINET operates according to the latest security standards, both technologically and organizationally and actively contributes to increasing digital security in companies—with tangible benefits in the form of less risk, greater availability, verifiable compliance and genuine operational relief.
About the Alliance for Cyber Security
The Alliance for Cyber Security (ACS) is an initiative of the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). It was founded in 2012 together with the German Association for Information Technology, Telecommunications and New Media (Bitkom).
It is Germany's largest public-private partnership in the field of IT security. With over 1,200 participating institutions, the Alliance now plays a decisive role in strengthening the digital resilience of business and administration.
The aim of the initiative is to sustainably increase cybersecurity in Germany and improve the resilience of Germany as a business location against cyberattacks.
To this end, the alliance connects companies, authorities, associations and research institutions to share knowledge, experience and proven security measures. It provides its participants with a wide range of information materials, recommendations for action and analyses of current threat situations and actively supports them in establishing robust IT security management.
In addition, it regularly organizes cybersecurity days, web talks and expert and experience groups that promote exchange between specialists from different industries.
The Alliance for Cybersecurity offers its members numerous formats for further training, networking and the exchange of experiences.
The offerings include, among other things:
- Cybersecurity days: Specialist events with presentations, workshops, and opportunities for personal exchange between experts and companies.
- Cybersecurity web talks: Online formats on current topics, trends and threat situations.
- Experience and expert groups: Platforms for the confidential exchange of best practices and security strategies.
Shared responsibility for a secure digital future
Our participation in the Alliance for Cyber Security underscores our commitment to maintaining the highest security standards in all areas of our business and to actively contributing to the further development of the IT security landscape.
We are convinced that cybersecurity is a joint task that can only be successfully mastered through networking and cooperation.

In addition to its membership in the Alliance for Cyber Security, OMNINET is involved in other initiatives and networks that promote the highest standards of quality and security.
Our numerous certifications—including ISO 27001 (information security management), ISO 9001 (quality management) and ITIL® from PeopleCert—underscore our ongoing commitment to security, quality and reliability.
