ITIL TOOL DAY 2025
PeopleCert is once again inviting attendees to ITIL TOOL DAY in 2025—the online event for decision-makers and ITSM professionals who want to experience ITIL®-accredited tools in practical use. What is our session about?
Modern IT landscapes are highly networked, data-driven and changing rapidly. Classic REST interfaces reach their limits when many different data sources need to be combined, complex service processes need to be mapped completely and consistently and AI models need to be continuously supplied with consistent, context-related data.
This is where GraphQL comes in: Instead of many rigid endpoints, GraphQL uses a schema-based model that allows clients to query, modify, and combine exactly the data they need—no more and no less.
In our session, we will show you:
- how GraphQL works as a generic API layer above your ITSM tool
- how to centrally model processes, configurations and data flows
- how LLMs and other AI services can be reliably supplied with high-quality context from ITSM
- how to coordinate machine learning workflows and automations across multiple systems
