Increasing the Service level: automation, self-service & benchmarks in a practical test
The imh will host the conference "Forum IT: Jahresforum Service Desk", in Vienna. The conference will be dedicated to the optimization and efficient organization of services, referring to the changed framework conditions and market situations in the wake of the COVID-19 lockdowns. OMNINET is sponsor of the conference.
Wide range of topics around working remote in the service desk
The focus will be on the remote working in home office and the associated challenges, for example collaboration tools, communication models or motivational tips and team building. But also new technologies, global approaches, automation, centralization and performance measurement of services and support will be presented. Part of the program is also a short workshop on agile methods in practice.
Common to all presentations is the overarching theme of service desk. Numerous practical examples (from OSRAM Continental, AVL List and Caritas, among others) and best practices will also be part of the conference and serve as a starting point for discussions. The conference is aimed at executives, CIOs and those interested in technology in the areas of service desk and support.
Interactive workshop for managers
An interactive workshop will be held on 6 September on the topic of “Den Service Desk in stürmischen Zeiten führen” (Managing the service desk successfully in stormy times). The exact focus of this workshop will be jointly determined on site; overall, the topics will be leadership quality, team management, stress management skills, and motivation of employees at the service desk.
