In the live session, our BPMN expert Dr. Marion Tudor will demonstrate how to implement automated BPMN processes quickly and efficiently.
Templates allow you to reuse BPMN process models, so you can automate similar processes quickly and easily. Connectors help you exchange information with connected third-party systems. In the example use case shown, where an automated data backup is requested, a connector is used to access an external data source.
The OMNITRACKER BPMN Engine has been extended by new template features, so that already tested and released BPMN processes can be specifically reused. This saves time when creating process models that are similar to existing BPMN processes. Partial sections can also be reused in this way. Our connectors (.otconn files) help to ensure that the necessary data exchange between OMNITRACKER and third-party systems (for automated processes) runs smoothly.
The application example is shown in OMNITRACKER Web Gateway 2.0 and deals with ticketing processes of ITSM Center version 12.1.200.
