InfoTech Research Group’s international provider comparison for ITSM tools
OMNINET wins gold medal for third time in a row!
Once a year, the Canadian analyst InfoTech Research Group conducts a large-scale ITSM market analysis. It not only examines the functions of the IT service management tools very closely, but also the performance and services of the 16 providers. Thanks to the evaluation of more than 700 customers, the result is particularly meaningful with regard to the daily use of the applications.
In the overall assessment, the four companies that performed best in this year's study were awarded a gold medal. OMNINET was able to maintain its top ranking and, as in the last two years, wins gold. In addition, OMNINET is the best-placed manufacturer with headquarters in Germany.
Evaluation criteria of the provider comparison for ITSM systems
The ITSM product report is intended to support IT decision-makers in finding a service management solution that meets their needs. For this purpose, the ITSM tools themselves were analyzed, as well as the performance of the manufacturers. Among others, the following categories were included in the overall evaluation:
- Quality and breadth of features
- Ease of customization
- Ease of data integration
- Negotiation and contract experience
- Problem resolution experience
- Likeliness to recommend
- Availability and quality of training and vendor support

1st place in the category "Availability and quality of training”
In the software environment, training is essential in order to optimally use all the potential of a tool. Therefore, it is even more pleasing that our training center received a special award in the InfoTech Report 2020. OMNINET took first place in the quality and availability of training.
OMNINET regularly offers trainings in the company-owned training center. The training courses vary, depending on the topic (ITSM, process automation with BPMN, scripting, performance tuning, etc.) as well as on the level of previous knowledge (e.g. basic or advanced). For major software releases, OMNINET also offers additional update trainings, so that you can take full advantage of new OMNITRACKER features.
