In its new market study for 2017, the German analyst firm Research in Action compares 20 software providers in the area of IT and enterprise service management.
"OMNINET: Standard applications for IT and service processes - that goes down well with German customers".

The ranking of providers is largely determined by the information provided by customers: 500 IT budget managers from Germany were interviewed for the study by telephone and online. The analysts confirm "OMNINET covers all current customer needs in the German market for IT and Enterprise Service Management". And they add: "OMNINET's product portfolio is both innovative and mature. With OMNITRACKER standard applications, OMNINET already has a possible process coverage of 12 further subject areas, in addition to IT Service Management. The entire ITIL spectrum is covered, on-premise or as SaaS. This is rewarded by the customers with the second-best result in the sum of customer satisfaction and price-performance ratio". "OMNINET is a highly differentiated manufacturer. German customers are very pleased with the long-term gradual expansion of the product portfolio towards Enterprise Service Management. OMNINET will be the only manufacturer to release a BPMN 2.0 compliant workflow platform. The strategic orientation around fast, flexible and customer-oriented arrives".

The respondents evaluated the providers according to specific criteria in the areas of "strategy" and "implementation". These include factors such as vision and marketing, company stability and implementation power, breadth and depth of the solution offering, market share and growth, customer satisfaction and more. According to Research in Action, the importance of IT and enterprise service management has reached an all-time high. Chief analyst Dr. Thomas Mendel confirms: "Enterprise service management and the expansion of IT asset management to include non-IT assets are high on the agenda of IT decision-makers. In Germany alone there are currently more than 250 suppliers in this area. The study supports the identification and selection of providers and informs about current market trends regarding IT investment projects, the use of cloud-based software, the growing importance of enterprise service management and more.
